Laura Moeller

Laura H. Moeller, 96, Fargo went to her heavenly home to join her husband on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. She was under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley and was surrounded by her daughters. Laura was born November 29, 1919 in Addison, North Dakota to Berthold and Laura (Brown) Schwarz. She graduated from Fargo Central High School. She met her future husband, Gunnar, and they were married on December 19, 1942 in Minneapolis. They lived in Minneapolis for a few years before moving to Devils Lake and farmed before making their forever home in Fargo. Laura retired after 33 years from Northwestern Savings and Loan. She enjoyed spending summers at her cottage at Paul Lake and winters in Astoria, Oregon with her son, Gary. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Moeller and Sherry Ochsner; 3 grandchildren, Jeff, John and Laurie, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 siblings, Lois Finchan, Dorothy Hustad and Berthold (Marlys) Schwarz. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gunnar in 2001, son, Gary, grandson, Jason, brothers, Charles and Harold and sisters, Donna, Betty and Bernice. Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with visitation starting at 10:00 A.M. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
