Laura Rheault

Laura M Rheault passed away Monday, January 18, 2010 at Meritcare Palliative Care in Fargo. Laura M. Cossette was born to Pierre and Emma (Pronovost) Cossette on the family farm near Horace, North Dakota. She grew up and attended school in the Horace area. Laura M. Cossette married Julien Rheault on May 31, 1937 in Horace. They farmed in the Horace area for 25 years and in 1961 they moved to Fargo. Laura was a very active volunteer at St. John’s Hospital, The Elim Home, Village Family Services, United Way, as well as her church, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She is survived by 2 sons, Thomas (Sharon) Rheault, Las Vegas, NV, LeRoy (Betty) Rheault, West Fargo, ND; 3 daughters, Kathleen (Curtis) Olerud, Fargo, Marie (Bryce) Coryell and Phyllis (Herb) Hamilton, both of Green Valley, AZ, 10 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren. 3 great great grandchildren, 1 brother, Clifford (Denise) Cossette, Fargo and 1 sister, Charlotte (George) Thom, Long Prairie, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julien, grand daughter, Janet Coryell, 3 brothers, Gaston, Maurice, and Lawrence Cossette, and 2 sisters, Lucille Bussiere and Hazel Bernier. The funeral for Laura will be at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m Saturday. There will be a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Friday at Boulger Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home and one hour before the funeral in the church. Burial will be at Holy Cross North Cemetery.
