Leo J. Lagasse, 69, Fargo passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 in Fargo, ND surrounded by his family. Leo was born September 16, 1947 in Rolla, North Dakota to Omer and Antoinette (Rivard) Lagasse. He graduated from Rolla Public School in 1966. He moved to Fargo where he graduated from Hanson Mechanic School in 1967. He married Eileen Primeau on September 2, 1967 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, North Dakota. They made their home in Minneapolis before moving back to St. John, North Dakota in 1972 where he worked for Mickelson’s Farms. He owned and operated his own mechanic shop in St. John, North Dakota for a number of years. He went to work for Nichols’ Ford in Rolla, North Dakota before moving to Williston in 1990 where he worked for a Ford Dealership until his retirement in 2015 when he moved to Fargo. Leo’s favorite hobby was going bowling. He was a talented craftsman and loved to refurbish homes with reclaimed materials. Leo is survived by his wife of 49 years, Eileen, Fargo; children, Daniel (Bert) Lagasse, Baker, MT, Deirdre Henderson, Mantador, ND, Darcy (Damon) Disrud, Leonard, ND; grandchildren, MyLynn Henderson, Lane Disrud, Lauren Lagasse, Jana Henderson, McKayle Disrud; mother, Antoinette Lagasse, Crookston, MN; brother, Raymond (Diane) Lagasse, Starbuck, MN; sisters, Estelle (Terry) Krichoffner, Bismarck, ND, Lucille (David) DesRoches, St. John, ND and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Roger Lagasse and sister, Leonie Boe. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with visitation starting at 9:00 A.M. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.

    I enjoyed the many years knowing you through the Wednesday Night Men’s League at Million Dollar Lanes in Williston. We had a lot of great times during the annual state tournaments!
