Leo Robert Wilson, our little angel was called home to the Lord September 12th 2018 after only 126 short days on this earth. Leo is the son of Bob and Maggie, he and his brother were the answer to their prayers. They came into this world May 9th 2018 three months early and Leo was on a mission from the start. He was ready to meet his family and enjoy the world around him. He spent 57 days in the NICU at Altru and absolutely loved all the attention he got there. During his stay there he was given the nickname “Leo the lion”. He may have been small but he had a larger than life personality from the beginning. He never lacked love during his stay and the doctors and nurses will forever have a special place in our hearts for taking such good care of our sweet boys. During his brief stay on earth Leo loved nothing more than snuggling every chance he got and never turned down the opportunity to take a long nap. There was never a shortage of love and attention from his older brothers Tyler and Oakley. He brought joy and happiness to everyone who met him, he was a perfect fit to our family. He will be forever missed. He is survived by his parents Bob and Maggie Wilson, his older brothers Tyler and Oakley and his twin brother Henrik. His uncle John Rust, uncle Jake and aunt Nicole Rust and uncle Michael and aunt Jennifer Kessler. Cousins Noah Rust, Hannah Kessler, Sophie Kessler and Austin Kessler. Grandparents Randy and Judy Rust, Julie Rust, Ron and Ellen Wilson and great grandparents Ruth Rust and Zane Stigen. He is joining his great grandparents Vernon Rust, Eleanor Stigen, Glen and Pearl Stalnaker and Robert and Brida Wilson in heaven. Donations can be made to the Altru NICU. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, September 21, 2018 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, ND. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church on Friday. Burial will be held at Immanuel Cemetery near Hillsboro. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wildeman-Boulger Funeral Home in Hillsboro, ND.
