Lester Olson

Lester A. Olson, 87, formerly of Kindred, ND, died at his home in West Fargo on Wednesday, August 25, 2004. Lester was born on January 13, 1917, to Gustave and Julia Olson on the family farm at Leonard, North Dakota. He grew up and attended school in that area. Lester A. Olson married Ruth Radcliffe in Moorhead, Minnesota on February 26, 1943. They farmed in the Kindred area from 1943 until retiring in 1979. In 1979 they moved to West Fargo and have lived there since. They have belonged to Faith Lutheran Church in West Fargo for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, at home; children, Judy (Gary) Anderson, Andover, MN, and Shirley (Michael) Gulsvig, Eagan, MN; three grandchildren, Jenna (Bryan) Kocon, Phylane and Matthew Gulsvig; and two great grandchildren, Tyler and Kayla Kocon.
