Linda "Marge" Chelgren

Linda "Marge" Chelgren, age 74 of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Villa Maria under the care of Hospice.  Linda was born on September 8, 1943 in Fargo, ND to Edward and Marion Brekke.  She attended elementary school at Woodrow Wilson.  Linda was married and divorced twice.  Her first marriage was to Thomas Brovold and second marriage to David Chelgren. She received residential supports for over 20 years from Community Living Services.  In May of 2010 she moved to Villa Maria care center in Fargo where she lived with her three beloved babies, Palmer, Sylvia and Strawberry, who she loved with her whole heart. "Marge" will hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew her.  Her deep love for her babies, quirky sense of humor and her elaborate story telling abilities will always be fond memories to her family and caregivers she has had throughout the years. She is survived by sister-in-law, Kathleen Brekke of Brooklyn Park; and niece, Christina.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Marion Brekke; and her brother, James Brekke.
