Lloyd Hagen

Lloyd A. Hagen, 80, Hillsboro, ND, died Sat. March 15, 2003, in the Hillsboro Medical Center Hospital. Lloyd A Hagen was born Nov. 16, 1922 in Hillsboro, ND. He was the son of Peder and Matilda Hagen. He grew up and attended school in Hillsboro. Lloyd married Agnes Hamstad McKinnon on Feb. 2, 1952 in Hillsboro. The couple lived in Grandin, ND where they owned and operated the Grandin Rec from 1952 until 1982. Lloyd was employed by R. F. Gunkelman & Sons of Grandin and later at Agway of Grandin from 1970 until 1980. His wife Agnes died in 1987. He moved to Hillsboro in 1998. He is survived by one son, Allen (Peggy) Hagen, Grandin, ND Three step children; Robert (Marge) McKinnon, Dent, MN, Douglas (Sue) McKinnon, Woodbury, MN and Kay (Dan) Gatzge, Ripon, WI, two grandchildren and ten step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Molly Hestbeck, Hazel Bremseth, Evelyn Aho. Visitation: Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the Wildeman Funeral Home and Tuesday one hour before the funeral at the church.
