Lloyd Lundeen
May 31, 1924 ~ April 22, 2011
Lloyd Lundeen was born May 31, 1924 in Bloomfield Township, Traill County, ND. He grew up and attended school in the Blanchard, ND area. Lloyd farmed southeast of Blanchard until 1988. At that time he moved to Fargo where he has lived since.
He served on the Blanchard Farmers Elevator Board and was Bloomfield Township supervisor. He has served on the election board in Fargo and has been a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Lloyd volunteered as the watch repairman at Dakota Boy and Girls Ranch where he worked thousands of hours. He also volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Bethany Nursing Home, the Salvation Army and Villa Maria Nursing home. Lloyd's passion was helping people and witnessing for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his brother, Earl Lundeen, Hillsboro, ND; a sister, Elenore Lundeen, Fargo, ND, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Roy and George, and two sisters, Frances and Mildred.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Dakota Boys Ranch, Grace Lutheran Church, Grace Lutheran School, and the Hillsboro Health and Humanities Foundation

Lloyd was one of the nicest guys you would’ve ever met. I worked with him for several years at the Dakota Boys Ranch. His generosity and caring for others was never ending. He loved to visit and I truly enjoyed all our stories we shared about his farming past and my family farming. I’ll miss him very much! Rest in Peace Dear Friend!
casselton ndtook care of lloyd the whole time he was at manor care. I remember he would always ask me how are the fields is there water there. He was a great guy I miss him dearly.
El Cajon CAFondly remembering the visits with Lloyd and my aunts Eleanor, Francis and Mildred and uncle Earl at the family farm in the ’50s & 60’s.
Thankful for his and their support when I and my children needed them in ’92.
Regretting I didn’t do more to support them and not staying in touch.
