Lloyd passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016 at the Hillsboro Medical Center Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 94. Lloyd Weber was born May 17, 1922 on the home farm, near Hillsboro, in Traill County, where he grew up and attended school. He was the son of Adele (Rust) and William Weber. Lloyd married Yvonne Sondrol on June 27, 1951 in Hillsboro. They had two children, Ralph and LeeAnn. Lloyd farmed with his father until 1967, continuing to farm until retirement, when he and Yvonne moved to Hillsboro in 1990. Yvonne died in November of 2010. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, now St. John Lutheran Church. A life-long member of the church, Lloyd served as church elder and trustee for many years and through witness of his faith. He served as Clerk of Eldorado Township School Board, Clerk-Treasurer of Eldorado Township, member of Taft Elevator Board and nine years on the Trail County Water Board. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; his three brothers - Walter, Elmer and Edward; his step mother, Clara; his step-sister, Ruth Meyer; his step-brother, Louis Stewart; and his two brother-in-laws, Harlin and Maynard Sondrol. He will be missed by his two children; Ralph (Debbie) Weber of Jamestown, ND; and LeeAnn Shultz of Hickson, ND; his grandchildren - Calvin (Kayla) Weber, Daniel (Ticini) Weber, and Aaron Shultz; his brother, Reuben (Adeline) Weber of Little Falls, MN; his great-grandchildren- Aidden, Mason, Carson, and Lola; and his sister-in-law, Nancy Sondrol. Lloyd’s family would like to thank the staff at Sanford Hillsboro Assisted Living, Hospital, Clinic, and Nursing Home as well as Hospice of the Red River Valley. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Hospice of the RRV, Dakota Boys & Girls Ranch, and The Anne Carlson Center of Jamestown. VISITATION: 5-7 PM Friday, November 4, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church in Hillsboro – and also one hour prior to the service in the church on Saturday PRAYER SERVICE: 7 PM Friday at St. John Lutheran Church FUNERAL SERVICE: 2 PM Saturday, November 5, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church in Hillsboro

  2. So sorry for your loss, Ralph and LeeAnn. Your Dad was a good man and always so nice to me. I haven’t seen you since you were children but I remember when you came down to Rockford, Il. to visit. I was married to Don Meyer at the time.

  3. My condolences, Lloyd was a good friend and we had many conversations about the old days and
    we ate many ice cream bars. He will be missed. Unfortunately I will be unable to attend the Funeral.
