Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My Sympathy to you all. I worked with her when she was at Ottertail and I was at Cass County Electric Cooperative we both did the same thing and work together on projects in the area.

  2. My sympathy to the family of Lois. I worked with her at Heartview and remember her with fondness as she was very supportive to me when I began working there. God Bless her and all of you.

  3. I knew Lois for many years when she was a counselor at Heartview Foundation. She was a very compassionate and caring person. She gave 100% to her patients and many of them came back to Heartview reunions to see her. She was also a very giving person. We had a lot of good times together.

  4. We remember Lois fondly. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

  5. Dear Lois, 50 years ago you tried to help my deeply troubled family when I was a teenager and my Dad went to Heartview for several months. At the time I had no idea about alcoholism and family dysfunction and that alcohol rehab facilities were in their infancy. For decades after that time, I was deeply affected by the effects of living with alcoholism and family dysfunction. In 2010 my life was changed forever when I crawled into ACA. Lois, it might take 50 years, but you began to crack me open all those years ago and I thank you dearly. It doesn’t not surprise me that your energy reached me today, just a few weeks after your death. We are surrounded by godsent angels always, of which you were one of mine. May you rest in peace. My name is Cheryl and I am a deeply grateful recovering adult child of alcoholics
