Loretta J. Cofell
January 23, 1942 ~ November 28, 2019
Loretta J. Cofell (Tollefson) of Lake Park, Minnesota, formerly of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the age of seventy-seven.
Loretta Tollefson was born January, 23, 1942 to Theodore and Lois Tollefson (Pershon) in West Fargo, ND, where she grew up and graduated from High School. On September 7, 1963, Loretta was united in marriage to Garth S. Cofell.
Loretta loved gardening, fishing, sports, cooking, baking, paper tole, and ceramics. Together with Garth, Loretta devoted over 40 years delivering newspapers for the Fargo Forum. In their peak they delivered as many as 1,000 papers daily.
Loretta is survived by her children; Kari, James, Wayne and Daryl Cofell; her brother Vic Tollefson.
Loretta was preceded in death by her husband Garth of 51 years; her parents; her siblings, Darlaine Clemenson, Ernst and Alfred Tollefson.
A special thank you to Hospice of the Red River Valley for the loving care and kind and caring assistance in taking care of Loretta.
