Lou Ziegler

Ziegler was born Dec. 9, 1948, in Clifton Springs, N.Y. He went to college at State University of New York, Geneseo, where he graduated with a bachelor?s degree in English. He was preceded in death by his father, Karl L. Ziegler, in 1994. He is survived by his mother, Sophie P. Ziegler of Newark, N.Y.; his wife, Sandy, Fargo; his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Laura of Ellenboro, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Karley and Thomas Mott of Irondequoit, N.Y.; grandson Nicholas Mott, also of Irondequoit; brother and sister-in-law Charles and Terri Ziegler of Palmyra, N.Y.; brother and sister-in-law Paul and Diane Ziegler of Seminole, Fla.; nieces and nephews Jennifer (Travis) Whitton, Amy Ziegler, Kimberly Ziegler and Michael Ziegler; and an aunt, Helen (William) Decker of Baldwinsville, N.Y. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to The Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo.
