Lucille was born December 13, 1926 in Montmartre, Saskatchewan Canada, the daughter of Wellie and Christiana (Ritchot) O'Shaughnessy.

Her hobbies included doing puzzles, bingo, and collecting Norman Rockwell plates and memorabilia. Nothing meant more to her than her family, but she had many friends and was loyal and loving to them as well.  Lucille will mostly be remembered as a loving, caring and nurturing mother to her three children.  She was adored and admired by her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Lucille loved attending their many activities.

  1. Fargo I met Lucille at the Ladies Formal Tea at the Cathedral. I was the MC and she was one of our most enthusiastic attendees. We had lovely chats and she always glowed with joy.

I went to visit my mom’s grave today and saw that Lucille was buried just a few sites away. My mom (Eline Knudson) also met Lucille at the Tea. I picture them in Heaven sitting down for a nice chat and a cup of tea while they wait for us to join them someday.

I am keeping your family in prayers. And when you visit her grave, know that she is buried near someone who had the great pleasure of meeting her in this lifetime. Lucille definitely touched our lives. She will be missed by many …

  2. I am sorry to hear of Lucille’s passing As a Vogel Law Firm attorney, I worked with Lucille for 15 years, and I stayed in touch with her after moving to Indiana with my family many years ago. Lucille’s intelligence, extensive legal knowledge and experience, dedication, loyalty, mentoring abilities, and cheery disposition made her a valued member of the Vogel Law Firm team and a joy to work with. She will live on in the many lives she touched, including mine.

My condolences to her family. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that you find comfort in the many happy memories you must have and in your faith. I am confident she is dancing with angels! Pam Hermes

  4. Moorhead, mnLucille was truly an inspiration to me. I worked with her at Vogel Law. The light in her office was forever on! She worked many hours taking care of all the attorneys at Vogel.
She and I shared the same birthdate, so when December rolled around, we were always up for celebrating! We also shared many political views and would discuss them daily….BUT she could not vote! That was a topic of conversation many days! She was a wonderful and interesting woman!

  5. I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in Gods promise found at Revelation 21:4- “And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more..”

  12. Fargo ND
To members of Lucille Campbell’s family,

I send my condolences on Lucille’s death. I have known Lucille for more than a half century.

I initially hired her in about 1952 to work as a secretary in the law firm then known as Wattam, Vogel, Vogel, and Bright, now its successor the Vogel Law Firm. Lucille was a wonderful person in the law firm. She primarily worked for Phillip Vogel in his years with the firm.
She also was the “best” as one who did legal work both as a secretary and a paralegal.

I know some of her family. She has been a great mother and grandmother. She was very proud of her family. All of us who knew Lucille will miss her. I send greetings to all in the Campbell family.

    Warm regards,
    Myron H. Bright
