Luella Stenberg

Luella passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Eventide in Fargo, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 91. Luella Huhner was born on March 24, 1927, the daughter of Reinhold and Edith (Carstensen) Huhner, near Davenport, ND. She grew up on the family farm and received her education, graduating from Davenport High School. Luella was united in marriage to Martell Stenberg on August 27, 1949. Together they made their home in Fargo where they raised their family. Luella had most recently made her home at Eventide in Fargo. Martell passed away on August 22, 2017. Luella is survived by her daughters – Darlene (Steven) Hans of Davenport, ND and Phyllis (Michael) Sharkey of Texarkana, TX; two grandsons – Kyle and Carter Hans; and her brother, Raymond “Bud” (Elaine) Huhner of Prior Lake, MN. Luella was preceded in death by her husband, Martell; her daughter, Linda Stenberg; and her siblings – Eleanor Larson, Francis Richardson, Marion Tuskind, Carol Salberg, and Merle Huhner.
