Lynn Doeden

Lynn J. Doeden Cummings, North Dakota Lynn passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2007 at the Hillsboro Medical Center Nursing Home at the age of 86. Lynn was born on March 20, 1921 to Fred and Alma (Amundson) in rural Caledonia, ND. He grew up in the Cummings and Caledonia area. Lynn served in the US Army during WWII and received the silver star and good conduct medals. He married Viola Olson on September 13, 1955. They made their home on a farm near Cummings where they farmed for many years. Lynn was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola; his parents; infant daughter and son-in-law, Robby Beck. Lynn is survived by his children, Sharon Doeden of Hatton, ND, Steve (Judy) Doeden of Cummings, Robert Doeden of Cummings, LeAnn Beck of Hillsboro, Ron (Tami) Doeden of Amery, WI, Mike (Cindy) Doeden of Hillsboro; 11 grandchildren; brothers, LeRoy (Jan) Doeden of West Fargo, Elmer (Verla) Doeden of Nielsville, MN, Fred (Delilah) Doeden of Dilworth, MN. Visitation: 6-7 PM Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Hillsboro and also one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Thursday. Prayer Service: 7 PM Wednesday in the church. Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM Thursday, November 29, 2007 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Interment: Caledonia Cemetery, Caledonia, ND.
