Lynn Larson, age 75, passed away on October 2, 2016 at Villa Maria in Fargo. Lynn was born on August 25, 1941 in Halstad, MN to Morris and Esther (Pratt) Larson. He grew up in Hillsboro where he farmed all his life. He graduated from Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston, MN. He attended school in Wahpeton, ND for mechanical training the following year. He loved farming, hunting and his family. He was united in marriage to Delores Rheault on November 16, 1963 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Fargo. He volunteered many years at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and as an EMT for the Hillsboro Ambulance Service. Lynn is survived by his wife Delores, Fargo; son, Tim, Dallas, TX; his sisters: Betty (Jim) Kolanczyk, Frisco, TX; Pam (Don) Lawrence, Hillsboro; Paulette (Bruce) Bowersox, Hillsboro; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant daughter, Heidi Lyn. A special Thank You to the staff of Hospice of the Red River Valley and Villa Maria. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11:00am Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Hillsboro VISITATION: One hour prior to services at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church INTERMENT: Immediately following the memorial service at Riverside Cemetery, Hillsboro

  2. Our deepest sympathy for your loss, Lynn was like another parent to us growing up. We always had a tremendous amount of fun visiting and doing our best not to mess the house up! Such great memories of growing up in the neighborhood and he was a large part of that.

  3. My thoughts and prayers are with Lynn, his family and friends. Both he and Delores were very special to me growing up and he will be missed immensely. I know he is in a better place and I will forever cherish every memory I have of him.
