Mae Elaine Cullen

Mae Elaine Cullen passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Bethany on University under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley, at the age of 94. Mae Elaine Hanson was born on May 9, 1925 to John and Josephine (Hendrickson) Hanson in Fargo, ND. She was raised and educated in Fargo, graduating from Fargo Central in 1943. She married Vernon (Buzz) Cullen on July 20, 1946. They raised their family in Fargo. Mae Elaine is survived by her children, Steven (Marilyn) Cullen of Hawley, MN; Timothy (Marlene) Cullen of Fenton, MO; Michael Cullen of Casselton, ND; and Lori Cullen of Iowa City, IA; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; parents; siblings, Harold (Florence) Hanson; Roy (Marge) Hanson; Doris (J.C.) Jungnitsch and Gordon (Betty) Hanson. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Hospice of the Red River Valley. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 11, 2020 with visitation beginning one hour prior at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo, North Dakota. Burial will be at Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
