Manfield (Buster) Olson, Fargo, formerly of Aneta, North Dakota, died Saturday, March 1, 2003 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fargo. Buster Olson was born August 9, 1925, to Thomas H. and Annie Olson. He grew up on the family farm at Aneta, North Dakota and attended schools in Aneta. Buster enlisted in the Navy and served in the South Pacific during World War Two. He then served in the Navy during the Korean War, serving a total of over six years including World War Two and Korea before being discharged from the Navy. Buster returned to the Aneta area where he farmed until becoming disabled. He had lived at the Moorhead Health Care Center since August of 2002. He is survived by his Son Larry A. Olson, Everett, WA 3 Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Annie, his brothers Alfred Olson, and Thelmer Olson, and his sisters Helga Smith, Elaine Reger, and Odella Brown.
