Margaret Himmelberger

Margaret (Peggy) Himmelberger, died on December 31, 2007 at the Palliative Care Unit of Meritcare Hospital in Fargo, ND. Margaret (Peggy) Fines was born in Miles City, MT., and then the family moved to Sioux Falls, SD where she graduated from O?Gorman High School. Margaret worked as an operator at the Telephone Company for apx. 5 years. She married Robert Himmelberger on December 24, 1943 and they moved to Amaryllis, TX., where they were stationed during his military service during WWII. After the war, they settled in Sioux Falls, SD and Margaret worked at the telephone company there for a time. She was also a model for a couple of the local stores in Sioux Falls, SD. They moved to Duluth, MN and Fargo, ND when Robert was transferred with the BF Goodrich Company. Robert died on December 27, 1987. Margaret worked as owner in Himmelberger Real Estate for a time after Robert?s death. She resided in Naples, Fl, during the winter months and she enjoyed spending time with her special niece Barb Josephson. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the entertainment committee at the Elks? Lodge. She enjoyed playing Bridge, dancing and traveling. She is survived by her children: Connie Tibbetts, Moorhead, MN, Brian Himmelberger (Michelle) Niagara, WI, Thomas Himmelberger (Linda) Puyallup, WA, Judy Kasemir, Fargo, ND; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother: John Fines ( Ruth) Spokane, WA; and a special companion, Bud Carlson. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers: Ralph, Ray, Thomas, Ed Fines; and one sister: Birdie Westcoat. Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday January 2, 2008 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Wednesday January 2, 2008 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Thursday January 3, 2008 at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN. Visitation: 1 hour prior of the St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN.
