Marlene Anderson

Marlene Garcia-Anderson passed away peacefully at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo, North Dakota on Monday October 10^th, 2011.

Marlene was born in Bogota, Columbia on September 7^th 1960 to Pedro Garcia and Alicia Lozano.  She was the oldest of five children. They moved to the United States to pursue greater opportunities and made their home in Chicago, Illinois. In the early 1980's, Marlene moved her family up to North Dakota.

She enjoyed spending time with friends and listening to Motown music. Marlene will be remembered for her beautiful smile.

Marlene was preceded in death by her daughter Nichole Foss.

Her memory will live on with her family, Alicia Lozano (mother), Pedro Garcia (father), Pedro Garcia Jr. (brother), Jose Garcia (brother), Alice Garcia (sister), and Paul Garcia (brother), Natasha Foss (daughter), Nina Foss (daughter), Damian (grandson), Felix (grandson), Charles III (grandson), Rashad (grandson), Neveah (granddaughter). Dale (Butch) Boumen (Longtime Partner). She also leaves an extended family with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
