Marsha Marie Middagh, 56, Grandin, ND passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Sanford Health. She was born on November 21, 1958 to Raymond and Evangeline (Mayer) Presler in Jamestown, North Dakota. She grew up in Fargo and attended North High School. Following graduation, she attended Moorhead Technical School where she earned a degree in Business Accounting. On May 29, 1976 she was united in marriage to Richard Middagh at Atonement Lutheran Church in Fargo. The couple lived in Williston briefly before returning to Fargo where they raised their children. Marsha worked at Holsum Bakery for several years. She also was a bookkeeper at trucking companies before going into business with her husband moving mobile homes in the summer and trucking cross country in the winter. Marsha loved taking care of her family and organizing all the holiday get-togethers and she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She always put other people before herself. Marsha was very hardworking and had a strong determination, never stopping before she had succeeded at whatever she put her mind to. She is survived by her husband of almost 39 years, Richard; children, Richard (Carla) Middagh Jr., Justin (Elizabeth) Middagh, and Stacey (Nathan) Perry; sisters, JoAnn Oien, Joyce (Ronald) Rudolph, Cindy Overbo, and Sue (John) Rhinhart; grandchildren, Kamerai and Laine Middagh; Kitana Middagh; Ashton and Morgan Perry; and many other relatives and friends from all over. She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant brother. The family would like to extend a thank you to all Marsha’s family and friends for their love and support.

  1. Prayers are with you. Richard it seems like yesterday we were all sitting out in Abercrombie North Dakota playing whist on the cold winter nights, It has been 40 years or so from than a life time but yet it seems like last year. I’m sorry for your loss.

  4. Richard be strong pull your family in , be there for each other , from talking with your daughter you have a strong family support. Really wish I knew what to say . after 25 years of not seeing you guys I was shocked and happy to hear from you last February. Was looking forward to spending some time catching up. I was on Facebook a while back whining to Marsha about my health issues. She listened said some good things then went on to tell me she was in hospital and what she was facing. What a strong lady , you are a very lucky man to have been with such a good person for so many years.so sorry Richard.

  7. I’ve known Marsha since I was about 13 yrs old Stacey n I became friends when finding out she lived across the street from me. I loved Marsha like she was my own mother. She was always the cool mom. I really want to be there for the funeral but do to medical issues I can not. But I will be there in spirit. Marsha u will be missed u were a amazing woman. Rest in peace. I will never forget u

  8. My heart breaks to hear of your loss. When ever you came in the store I could see your bond to each other, it is a special thing to have someone tho have that bond with. May god watch over your family during this time and give you his grace. May Marsha’s memories give you strength and peace.

  9. Hey Nana, its Laine i’m 10 yrs old now its been 8 yrs sence you past. We all miss you. I have a picture up of you and u papa. You would be surprised how much I have grown and Kamerai had a son named Kingslo. He is all most 2 yrs old he would love you if he would of got to meet you.
