Marion ndI was deeply saddened to hear of Martha’s passing. She had been my dr. for several years and I truly looked forward to our visits. Her soft spoken, kind manner was infectious. I had introduced my Mother to her a few years ago and she had begun to see her also. When visiting we would talk about her son and the picture that she had in that room and that he was actually older, but she loved that picture so she kept it there. I will miss her kind hearted nature and visits. May she rest in peace and God has truly gained a wonderful angel. Cindy Vogel

Like Martha, I went to high school in Fargo (north, not south!), and went away for about a decade to complete my medical training, returning to Fargo in 2010 to take my first job at Essentia as an ophthalmologist. I met Martha shortly after I began there, at which time she had already begun her courageous battle with cancer. I was fortunate to get to know her, especially during the first two years there, and was greatly inspired by her strength, courage, and positive attitude, despite all that she endured. She was loved by her patients and co-workers and was a beautiful person. I will remember her always, as she deeply touched my life and many others.

I first met Dr. Glower when I started with Innovis Health in 2008. I worked with her friend, Grace, and we started meeting monthly for some crafting evenings. Martha was always the gracious hostess, fun to be around, always the encourager, and a beautiful person inside and out. I knew I wanted to be a part of Innovis, now Essentia, if she represented their commitment, ideals and standards. I treasure the times we had together. Those times can never be duplicated without her smile, skill and soul.
