Mary Frances Eichenberger, 85, San Rafael, CA, died Thursday, March 13th, 2003, in San Rafael. Mary Frances Eichenberger was born March 29th, 1917 in Chicago IL to Charles and Anna (Boehning) Dellekamp. She graduated from Englewood High School in 1935. Mary Frances married Ralph A. Eichenberger October 5th, 1940, at St. Anne?s Church in Chicago. They made their first home in Kankakee, IL. Business took Mary, Ralph, and their growing family to Minneapolis, MN, then to Milwaukee, WI, and finally to Fargo, ND. Mary was a busy homemaker and mother of seven children. She was an accomplished cook, and enjoyed needlework and gardening. She and her husband traveled extensively throughout Europe and Central America. Always a strong supporter of her local church, Mary was for many years an active member of the Church of the Nativity in Fargo and worked in Nativity?s school library. Her husband Ralph passed away in 1980. Mary moved to San Rafael, CA, in 1996 to enjoy the sunshine and to be close to her children and grandchildren. Mary was a devoted mother and will be deeply missed by her six children, twelve grandchildren, and seven great grand children. Her loving family members include her six children, son Robert (Susan) Eichenberger, Novato, CA, son William Eichenberger, Mukilteo, WA, daughter Nancy (Brian Corner) Eichenberger, Boston, MA, son James (Suzanne) Eichenberger, San Rafael, CA, son John (Stacey) Eichenberger, Burnsville, MN, and son Thomas (Lori) Eichenberger, Anthem, AZ. Her oldest daughter, Mary Lynn (Kenneth) Fasching, passed away in 1991. Her grandchildren are Richard (Shannon) and Mark (Catherine) Fasching; Christopher (Kiersten) Eichenberger; Jeffery (Shelly) Eichenberger; Jeremy Carson and Samuel Corner; Jordan and Gillian Eichenberger; Jacob, Maxwell, and Isaac Eichenberger; and Ella Eichenberger. Mary?s great grandchildren are Hudson, Cooper, Mallory, Elizabeth and Megan Fasching; and Jack and Camie Eichenberger. Funeral: Saturday, March 22nd, 11am, in Church of the Nativity, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Friday, March 21st, 5-7pm, Boulger Funeral Home Fargo, ND, with a prayer service at 7pm. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo, ND. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in Mary?s name to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
