MaryAnn Anderson

Mary Ann (Purcell) Anderson, 68, of Hillsboro, ND, passed away on January 13, 2007 in the Hillsboro Medical Center. MaryAnn was born July 25, 1938, in Fargo North Dakota, the daughter of Edward and Louise (Odegard) Purcell. She graduated from Central High School in Grand Forks, ND, in 1956. She worked in the law firm of Henry Tweeten for a time after graduation. She married Richard C. Anderson on September 5,1957, and they lived in Larimore, ND, before Moving to Minot, ND, and then to Lansford, ND. She worked at Minot Air Force Base Exchange as Head Bookkeeper for several years. She also was a sales person for Sara Coventry Jewelry for many years and a homemaker while her children were growing up. MaryAnn and Richard then moved back to the Reynolds/Buxton area, then to Grand Forks and finally to Hillsboro. MaryAnn is survived by her husband Richard; daughters Cheryl Leah Anderson, LaVonne Marie (Jim) O?Connell, son Richard Clair (Chelsea) Anderson, grandchildren Rachel Margaret and Jessica Marie O?Connell, brothers Dennis (Mona) Purcell, Bruce ( Rhonda) Purcell, sisters LaVonne Marie Parsons and Barbara Gibbs. She was preceeded in death by her parents and two brothers Robert and Ronald and one sister BettyAnn. MaryAnn will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 3 PM Friday, January 19, 2007 Our Savior?s Lutheran Church Hillsboro, ND. Interment will be in the spring at Grue Cemetery.
