Mathilda May

Mathilda ?Tillie? May, 96, of Rosewood on Broadway died there Sunday, August 15, 2004. Tillie was born on December 15, 1907 at Kent, MN. She grew up on a farm near Kent and attended a country school. She worked at her father?s Gambles Hardware Store in Kent before moving to Fargo in 1943. She found a job in the hardware dept. at Sears, which was in the Black Building in downtown, Fargo. She later worked in the office as an ordering clerk and retired from Sears in1968. Tillie has been a resident of Rosewood since Jan. 2003. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation: Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m with a Rosary by the Catholic Daughters at 6:45 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the Boulger Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday one hour before the service at the church. Funeral Mass: Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. St. Mary?s Cathedral, Fargo, ND. Burial: Kent, MN.
