Milan Bergson, 81, of Fargo passed away on Thursday at Villa Maria in Fargo.

Milan was born on December 22, 1930 at home in Ulen, MN to Jim and Lillian (Sabin) Bergson. He grew up and attended school in Ulen. After completing school he Milan joined the Air Force where trained in Lackman TX. After being honorably discharged he came back to Minnesota where worked up in Babbot and Eli on the iron range. It was there that he met his wife Elaine. The couple later made their home in Fargo. Milan was a carpenter for many years.

He is survived by his daughter: Lesa Bergson of Georgia; siblings: Loraine Ecklund, of Twin Valley, MN, Duane (Gloria) Bergson of Fargo, Bruce (JoAnn) Bergson of Fargo; Grandchildren: Tiffani Baldwin (married to Jeremy); Paige Benedict, Bryce Benedict Great Grandchildren: Karrisa and Haley Baldwin

and many nieces and nephews;

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Elaine; brothers: Mervin, Jerome, Darold.

  1. Adamstown MDWe were saddened to hear of Milan’s passing. He and Elaine were a very positive influence in my life. I have many fond memories of them and the love and joy they brought to every visit. We will miss them very much. Our deepest sympathies to Lesa and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  2. Glennville GAMy grandpa was the most amazing man I have ever met. I wish my daughters could of gotten to know him but they will from stories. He will never be forgotten. I was so lucky to have such an amazing grandpa and I miss you already. I would give anything for one more day with you. Cant wait to see you again grandpa. I love you.

    your mom and dad were our dearest neighbors on 13 1/2 street. They both shall be missed….but we have such fond memories living next door to them. wish we could be with you to celebrate your dad’s life, but we are at our winter home in mesa till the end of april. He was such a soft spoken,gentle soul and good friend. Our thoughts and payers are with all of you.

    Milan was a wonderful friend. He was more than just a carpenter his workmanship was unbelievable everything he did was perfect. He never said negative things about anyone ever. He loved his daughter grand children and wis wife Elaine and his brothers and sister. Will miss you Milan and will see you again someday.
