The Funeral Service for Mildred Grimstvedt will be held 10 AM Monday, September 29, 2003, at Our Savior?s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, North Dakota. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 - 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM in Wildeman Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Monday. Burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery in Hillsboro. Mildred died on Thursday, September 25, 2003, at the Hopkins Care Center in Hopkins, Minnesota, at the age of 80. Mildred Everett was born on June 28, 1923, in Artesia, New Mexico, the daughter of Jon and Gracie (Commander) Everett. She grew up and attended school in Seminole, Texas. After her schooling she moved to Washington where she met her future husband. Mildred was united in marriage to Duane Leroy Grimstvedt on June 22, 1945, in Vancouver, Washington. They lived in Breckenridge, Minnesota, for many years and in 1962, moved to Fargo/Moorhead. Duane passed away on April 17, 1997. Mildred is survived by her loving daughter, Wanda (John) Murray of Prior Lake, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Kellie Murray of Edina, Minnesota; and Nick Murray of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is also survived by her sisters, Coretta Robey of Midland, Texas; Mary Helen Kitts of Center Point, Texas; Annie Lee Hughes of Seminole, Texas; and Jolean Adams of Canyon, Texas; her sister-in-law, Arlene Cozzie of Glendale, California; and several nieces and nephews.
