Pearlene Sitter, 92, Golden Valley, MN formerly of Fargo, ND passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Colonial Acres Nursing Home in Golden Valley, MN. Mildred “Pearlene” was born on August 4, 1924 in Kent, MN to Henry “Oscar” and Marie (Klein) Middaugh. She graduated from Central High School in Fargo, ND. Following graduation, she began her career as a telephone operator at Northwestern Bell. After three years there, she took a position as secretary and receptionist at Pioneer Mutual. Pearlene married Norbert Sitter on November 16, 1946 at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Fargo, ND. In 1957 she began working for Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors and remained there until her retirement in 1986. Pearlene was a member of the St. Mary’s Guild and the Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, time at the lake, and spending time with family. She is survived by her; children: Susan Ann Bagge (Bradley) Golden Valley, MN, Steven Todd Sitter (Debra) Lake Geneva, WI; and six grandchildren: Jocelyn Schmidt (William), Jonathon (Stephanie)Bagge, Courtney(James) MacKall, and Matthew Bagge, Caitlin and Jamie Sitter, and four Great Grandchildren Sydney Raquel Bagge, August Jacklynn Bagge, Otto Albert Schmidt, and Lydia Rose Schmidt. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norbert Albert Sitter; and her sister, Marvel Korum.
