I remember Vern saying that he enjoyed Mitch during summer baseball.

  5. Mitch,

I won’t forget spending our afternoons on your patio getting some sun with the music turned up. We had some really good times and I’m going to miss you.

    Josh

  6. Mitch was a honorary member of our family who was a truly remarkable man. I know him as a man who loves music, to cause trouble when it can bring a smile and enjoyed the company of those who loved him. I am humbled by Mitch’s drive to live life even with the tough hand he was dealt and was proud to say that I was able to live a small portion with him in my life. Mitch, you will be missed but your memory will live on.

  7. Mitch has been a part of my family for most of my life. Any time my family was together, he was there with us. I remember him being a jokester, always trying (and succeeding) to make us laugh. Mitch’s love for music was so great; I remember playing a game where we had to guess the song/artist and Mitch was always the first to get it- and always correctly. He was a man so full of life and happiness despite his hardships. I will truly miss him.

  8. I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Olig family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection (John 5:28, 29) and the renewed Paradise earth, where death is an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) that will very soon be eliminated forever, and no family will mourn the death of a loved one (Revelation 21:4). This promise has been given by Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18). Truly, what a glorious and almost unbelievable day that will be! It’s a reality though for God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). For more comforting and encouraging scriptures on the resurrection, please visit jw.org.

  9. I remember Mitch fondly from many years ago when I was on the FM Acro team and he was our videographer. It was always fun to see him. Kind, Kind man! I know my mom enjoyed her visits with his as well. He has been remembered through the years! Light and Love to his family.

  10. We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Mitch. Your family has always held a special place in our hearts. Lots of fond memories. Rest In Peace Mitch.

    Mitch and Dawn Mahrer
