Myron Schwan

Myron J. Schwan ? Fargo, North Dakota Myron passed away peacefully in his home early Wednesday morning, November 2, 2005, after a courageous battle from cancer. He was born October 27, 1944 in Minot, ND to Alex and Anna Schwan. He graduated from Karlsruhe High School in 1964, attended Minot Business College, and the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND. He served in the military and Vietnam from 1965-1967. He married Pamela Larson June 7, 1984. Myron was employed with Lewis Truck Lines for 30 years, retiring in 2000. For the past three years he was a VA employee. Myron loved his golfing with a passion. He liked to garden and fish, and spent some time in Arizona during the winter to enjoy his golf. He is survived by his partner of 20 years, Pamela Schwan; three brothers, Ed, Karlsruhe, ND, Jerry, Everett, WA, and Pat (Donna), Fargo, ND; seven sisters, Alice (Ed) Keller, Bismarck, ND, Vicky (Guy) Kuncier, Arroyo Grande, CA, Isabell Carlson, Rogers, AR, Loretta (Russ) Abel, Fargo, ND, Beatrice (Ed) Aberle, Surrey, ND, Corrine (Rick) Noren, Seattle, WA, and Audrey (Mark) Alman, Bellevue, WA. Myron was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. Memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
