Nancy Beckstrom

Nancy M. Beckstrom,70 of Moorhead,died Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the Palliative Care Unit of MeritCare Hospital in Fargo. Nancy was born on January 11, 1937, in Casselton, ND to Louis and Cecilia (Schmit) Gebeke. She grew up and went to school in Fargo, ND. She married Harlen Beckstrom in 1955 and they had a wonderful family together. Nancy enjoyed rummage sales, dancing and spending time with her family, especially camping and spending time at the lake. She was a devout Catholic who helped lay the foundation for her family?s faith. Nancy survived by her children, Vicky Beckstrom of Williamsport, PA, Mark Beckstrom (Sue) of Foxhome, MN, Dan Beckstrom of Grand Forks, ND, Lisa Roberts (Dean) of Moorhead, MN; four grandchildren, Stephanie Beckstrom of Fargo, ND, Jonathan, Kathryn, and James Roberts of Moorhead, MN; three step-grandchildren, Jodi Thompson of Fargo, Jill Ramirez of Las Vegas, NV, Jenna Roberge of Fargo; three step-great-grandchildren; siblings, LouAnn Hirchert of Fargo, ND, Shirley Wambach (Ronnie) of Lake Park, MN, Jean Lind of Fargo, ND, Ronnie Gebeke (Ione) of Fargo, ND, David Gebeke (Judy) of Albuquerque, NM, Anita Bjornstad (Loren) of Fargo, ND and her special friend, Edwin Haick of Barnesville, MN. She is preceded by her parents; husband, Harlen; infant son, Michael and brother, Norman Gebeke. Visitation: Sunday, November 11 from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home,Fargo and one hour prior to Mass in the church on Monday. Prayer Service: Sunday at 7:00 pm followed by a rosary service at the funeral home. Funeral Mass: Monday, November 12 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church,Moorhead.
