Oh dear Nancy! You were such a ray of sunshine and humor. You are gone too soon. Your Nancy’s Nuances will be missed, no one could write it like you did. Ironic that we had to look to the last page of the Reporter to find it last week. Our sympathies to your family. Carlotta and Terry

My dear friend. Gone too soon. This Leedahl family has been in my life since I was a little girl.. Our moms were such great friends and myself and my brother Tom were classmates of your siblings. We all belonged to Hoople Methodist Church. Your dad was a grand card player and we enjoyed many nights at your place playing cards with Pete. My daughter is your godchild. As everyone can see we are family and always will be. We will all miss you so much. God speed Nancy. You are now home. Love you, Charlene

Steve, Erin and I send our sincerest sympathies to you all. We remember so many things: Friday night screen porch parties, coffee, Christmas parties, Erin sleeping under the piano with Hershey, Cole mowing her lawn, and a thousand other things. No better neighbor for us than Nancy. WE will miss her and her great sense of humor and love of humanity.

Dear Chad and Brett, I’m so sorry to hear the passing of your mom. Nancy was so special to us all. Even though we aren’t related by blood, her being my Godmother, has forever bonded us. You all mean so much to me. I’m so thankful that you made the effort, Chad, to bring her to visit us last summer. I will miss her crazy sense of humor and the infectious smile. Love and hugs to you both!

Fancy Nancy, You weren’t to leave us, ever. Thank you for being godmother to our girls, Heather & Kerry. You & I were the “new ladies” in Wakonda when Brett & Chad were so small. Fun & silliness reined with you, Lynn & the boys. You’re the bright, talented friend that lasts forever & lives on through Brett & Chad. Thanks for the friendship & memories. Sharron & Gary.
