Nancy “Nan” Carol Jessop Stabler, 63, Hunter, ND, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Sanford Palliative Care.  She was born on November 13, 1951 in Maryland to Alice Wilmar Jessop and Richard Bosley Jessop.  She grew up Cockysville, Maryland and graduated from Hereford High School in 1969. 

On April 15, 1977 she was united in marriage to Russel Stabler in Cockysville, Maryland.  Russel was in the U.S. Air Force and they lived near the Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.  From there they moved to Emerado, ND to McCanna, ND followed by a home in Fargo, ND, then settled in Hunter, ND.

Nan worked security at American Crystal Sugar, EGF from 1991-1996.  Until 2010, she worked for Qwest (aka US Bell) and Century Link.

She is survived by her husband, Russ; mother, Alice; several other relatives and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of 7S and the ICU at North Sanford Hospital and also to the nurses, doctors, and staff of Palliative Care Unit at South University.

Keep memories of her close to your heart as they will offer comfort in the future. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. The Lord never forsakes us and he will guide you through this with Nan watching over his shoulder and smiling down upon you.
