Norman Clavette

Norman J. Clavette, 56 of Mantador, North Dakota, died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fargo.

Norman was born on January 1, 1954 in Sinclair, Maine to Lawrence and Fernande (Marquis) Clavette.  He grew up in Maine and Connecticut and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.  He married Sherry Huwe on November 15, 1984 in Waxahachie, Texas.  They lived in Texas for 6 years before moving to North Dakota in 1991.

Norman enjoyed fishing and playing video games with his children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Maureen, infant brother and infant child. 

Norman is survived by his wife, Sherry of Mantador; children, Christopher (Jessica) Clavette of Vicenzia, Italy, Kayla (Chris) Thorseth of Fargo, Jonathan Clavette of Fargo, Steven Clavette of Fargo, Lawrence Clavette of Fargo; step-children, Angela (Chad) Schnible of Los Angeles, CA, Megan Nice of Williston, ND; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Helen Clavette of Connecticut, Joanne Bottass of Florida, Darlene Clavette of Florida and brothers, Stephen Clavette of Connecticut and Larry Clavette, Jr. of Florida.
