Orville August Buckhouse July 14, 1938 -September 21, 2018 Orville was born July 14, 1938 to Gilbert and Ruth Buckhouse in Lidgerwood, ND He attended rural high schools and graduated from 8th grade in Hankinson, ND. Orville had various jobs as a young boy. Orville married Annette Bauer on November 29, 1958. He was in the Army from 1961-1963 where he drove ammunition trucks. Orville worked for H.V. Johnston Culvert Company for 36 years and then worked for the Fargo Park Board for 15 years. Orville retired in 2012. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus in Moorhead, MN and the Am-Vets Post in Fargo, N.D. Orville loved his lawn and garden, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family playing lawn games, cards and his Wii. He leaves behind his wife Annette, son Craig, Billings MT, daughters Denise Smith and Renae (Trent) Hermen both Bloomington, MN and 8 grandchildren - Emily (Bill) Dempsey, Nathaniel and James Buckhouse, Meghan, David and Mitchell Smith, Rebecca and Alex Hermen along with his brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dale, and one son who died at birth.

    I REMEMBER ORVILLE WITH APPRECIATION AND GRATITUDE FOR THE WONDERFUL 36 YEARS HE GAVE TO THE H.V.JOHNSTON CULVERT COMPAMY. HE WAS DEDICATED, RELIABLE AND EXCELLENT AT MANAGING HIS CO WORKERS.
    HE WAS HELPFUL AND ENCOURAGING TO ME AS I TOOK OVER THE COMPANY AFTER MY FATHERS’ DEATH. HE WAS A GENTLEMAN AND ALWAYS WILLING TO WORK WITH ME.
