Paul Johnson

Paul E. Johnson, age 77, died unexpectedly in Mesquite, Nevada on January 1, 2010. Born January 24,1932 to Meta and Olander Johnson. Paul graduated from Kindred High School and served in the US Army. Paul married Janice Rustad on February 16, 1957 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Horace and farmed in rural Kindred until his retirement in 1994. He is a life member of the Horace American Legion and a member of the Hickson Senior Citizens. Paul is survived by his wife, Janice, daughters, Kim and Dave Ouren, Fargo; Jodi and Kelly Norman, Woodbridge, VA; Tracy and David Fisher, Edina, MN and a son, Bradley Johnson, Kindred . Grandchildren, Joshua and Laura Norman, Derek Ouren, Leisha Ouren, Jacob Norman and Samuel Fisher and great-granddaughter, Kylee Norman. Paul is also survived by his sister, Barbara Johnson, brothers, Roger (June) Johnson, Earl (Marcella) Johnson, all of Fargo, and Duane (Crystal ) Johnson, San Jose, CA ; brother-in-law, Roger (Judy) Rustad, Horace and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Christian Norman, brother-in-law, Alvin Johnson, sister-in-law, Marlene Spath, and nephew, Steven Johnson. Visitation: Thursday, January 7 from 4 to 7 pm followed by a prayer service at 7 pm in Boulger Funeral Home, 123 10th Street North, Fargo. Funeral: Friday, January 8 at 11 am at Norman Lutheran Church, Kindred. Burial: Norman Lutheran Cemetery, Kindred
