She began her nursing career at St. Luke’s Hospital, which later became Meritcare. She worked in both the clinic and hospital. She made her biggest impact working in Oncology and Palliative Care. She was known to be an extremely empathetic and compassionate nurse that treated all her patients as if they were her own family. There have been many testimonials from families of how well Peggy took care of them as well as their loved ones.

She loved spending time with family and friends and treasured every moment spent with their nine grandkids with whom she was always amazed and loved so dearly. Peggy loved to golf, read, do crossword puzzles, play Mahjong and piano. Her real talent was in crafts, which decorated their home and can be found in the homes of her many friends and loved ones.
