Phyllis Lorraine Kelly, 87, passed away today, Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Bethany Homes, Fargo.
Phyllis L. Kelly was born to Earl and Beatrice (Lundwall) on October 20, 1920. She graduated from Casselton High School and attended Interstate Business College in Fargo. Phyllis married Thomas Daniel Kelly. He preceded her in death in 1962. She lived in Lima Ohio, Salzburg, Austria, and Roanoke, Virginia before returning to Fargo. Phyllis began working for the IRS and worked there for 30 years until her retirement. Phyllis was active in the NDSU Teamakers Organization. On her 80th birthday at the NDSU Homecoming game the cheerleaders sang Happy Birthday to her. She was active in the VFW and the DAV and held offices in their auxiliaries. When Phyllis retired she volunteered with the VFW in keeping their books for the gaming industry. She was an avid bowler.
She is survived by William Joseph Kelly (Kary Aggie Kelly) Fargo,

Niece: Stephanie Phillips (John ) and family, Sacramento, CA
She was preceded by her husband, sister: Lois Phillips.
The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church, Fargo. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in Boulger Funeral Home and one hour before the funeral in the church.
