Randy Weiss

Randy L. Weiss, 38 of Fargo, died Thursday, February 25, 2010 in his home. Randy was born on March 3, 1971 to Jerry and Linda (Basher) Weiss in Fargo. He graduated from South High School in 1989 and served in the US Navy from 1989 to 1991. He worked as a surveyor for Ulteig Engineering and also worked with siding for Western Products and various other companies. He especially enjoyed working with disabled, homeless Vietnam veterans helping them with addiction and finding housing. He was proud of his own sobriety and his connection with friends of Bill W. Randy had recently graduated from Minnesota State University-Moorhead with a degree in social work. Randy loved to play tennis and work out at Courts Plus in Fargo. He also enjoyed reading and had recently been learning about and taking an interest in Eastern Philosophy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda and by his grandparents. Randy is survived by his father, Jerry of Fargo; daughter, Cassandra of Fargo; half-brother, Sean of Fargo, nieces, Sydney and Mahya and his cats, Wednesday and Sunny. Memorial Gathering: Tuesday, March 2 from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Memorial Service: Wednesday, March 3 at 11:00 am at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
