Reinhardt Mundt, 90, passed away at Rosewood on Broadway on Saturday, August 13, 2005. Reinhardt William Mundt was born on June 9, 1915 in East Boyer, Iowa to Wilhelm and Laura (Wiese) Mundt. He served in the U.S. Army from 1941-1945. He entered the Engineering Squadron because he knew how to drive heavy equipment. He was one of the first to be deployed to the Asiatic Islands because he had the know how to build roads and runways. After his military service, he worked as a carpenter and lived in several different areas of the United States. At one point, he farmed at Ogema, MN for a number of years. Survivors include: Leona Hodgson, Deland, FL, Lillian Vaudrin, Sioux Falls, SD, Grace Faught, Absaraka, ND and several nieces and nephews.
