Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Crossing path with Rev.Young and his wife was the best thing that happened to me. He was a great listener, a gentle soul and more importantly a jokester. I will miss him asking for his sandwich creme cookies. I will miss picking his knowledge about everything. You and your wife were so kind and welcoming to me and my family and I will keep your family in my prayers.

    Rest in paradise Reverend.

    I will miss you,
    Dami.

  2. So sorry to hear of the passing of Peter Young. He was my cousin and I have many fond memories of him and all of the Young family as a child at Aunt Anna’s house in Central Valley. Much love to the Young family.

  3. I was saddened to learn of Pete’s death when Anne called me on Jan. 4 and will share the news with folks who remember his wonderful pastorate at St. Paul’s UCC, Springfield. PA (now Collenbrook United Church, Drexel Hill). Pete is the reason I am part of the UCC, for which I’m forever grateful. My love to Anne and the boys and all of the extended family.

  4. Cynthia and I are saddened to hear of Pete’s passing. He was a dear friend during our time in Mayville. We had so many great conversations over the years and cherished his support in our public service. To Ann and your family, our prayers and overdue condolences and sympathies are with you.
