Richard Lindsey

Richard (Dick) Lindsey, 79, of Moorhead, Mn passed peacefully on July 18, 2015 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo.  He spent his last day surrounded by family. Dick was born in Page, ND on July 24, 1935 to Maynard  and Constance (Rockne).  He attended Page Public Schools, Jamestown State College and the University of Minnesota.  He was united in marriage in 1957 to Donna Mae Erickson. Dick began his professional career in the family funeral business and later transitioned into real estate.  He retired in 2000 to a life of leisure in the Detroit Lakes, Mn area. He has spent the last 40 years as an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous where he has helped many.  His best times have always been spent hunting, fishing, and telling stories with his closest friends and family. He is survived by his children, Richard (Elaine Snyder) of Pleasanton, CA, Pamela (David) Olson of Fargo, and Debra Morris of Grapevine, Tx.  His brother, Mark (Pat) Lindsey of Alexandria, Mn.   He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Isaac (Bobbi) Olson of Fargo, Eli Olson of Fargo, Mary Lindsey of Pleasanton, and Jonathan (Hayley) and Cooper Morris of Azle, TX. as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother. A memorial service and reception will be held on Tuesday, July 21 at 2 p.m. at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo and Celebration of Life Center.   Burial will be at the Page ND cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances should be made to a charity of your choice.
