Robert A. Wilm, 61, Harwood, ND formerly Hankinson, ND passed away peacefully Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Sanford Health, Fargo surrounded by his family. Bob was born March 5, 1956 in Hankinson, ND to John and Florence (Roob) Wilm. He attended school in Hankinson, ND before going to work as a plumber. He married Linda Gustafson on October 14, 1975. They lived and worked in Minneapolis and Glyndon before making their home in Harwood, ND. He started his own plumbing business Northern Plains Mechanical in 2000, where he worked until his passing. He was a big supporter of the Red River Zoo and he loved anything having to do with tractors. He was an avid collector of John Deere tractors and collector cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid card player. He loved to spend time at his cabin in Northern Minnesota riding ATV’s in the woods. In Hankinson, he had a farm stead where he would spend weekends enjoying life. Bob will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Linda, Harwood, ND; children, Sarah (Darren) Wall, Harwood, ND and Shawn (fiancé Nicole Moore and her daughter Maddy) Wilm, Harwood, ND; siblings, Valeria “Val” (Russel) Krause, Moorhead, MN, John (Cathy) Wilm, Hankinson, ND, Phyllis (Max) Gelinske, DeLamere, ND, Jim (Paulette) Wilm, Hankinson, ND and Jerry (Gloria) Wilm, Pelican Rapids, MN and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marlys Lenzen, brother-in-law, Tony Lenzen and nephews, Richard Gelinske, Joey Wilm and Terry Wilm. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Red River Zoo, 4255 23rd Ave S., Fargo ND 58104. Prayer Service: 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead with visitation starting at 6:00 P.M. Funeral Mass: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead with visitation starting at 10:00 A.M.

  8. So sorry to hear of Bobs passing. I did not know him but have heard about him many times from my son Jeff who thought so much of him, he looked up to Bob and valued the time spent with Bob. He will be remembered with fond memories
