Robert Hauff

Bob Hauff Moorhead, Minnesota Bob passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2006, at SCCI Hospital in Fargo, ND, at the age of 62. Robert Duane Hauff was born on September 29, 1943, the son of Reynold and Marie (Bernier) Hauff, in Fargo. He grew up in Fargo and attended St. Mary?s Grade School, Shanley High School, and graduated from Fargo Central High. In 1960 he entered the United States Navy and served for 4 years. Bob was united in marriage to Becky Hovdestad at Our Savior?s Lutheran Church in Moorhead in 1966. Bob served in the United States Air Force beginning in 1966 until his retirement in 1982. They were stationed in Oregon - Germany for 4 years ? Montana ? Mississippi ? Phoenix - Alaska and finally in Finley, North Dakota. After his retirement they moved to Moorhead and he graduated from NDSU. After his graduation he began working at Concordia College where he worked for nearly 20 years in the Events Coordinator role. Bob was very active in AA in Fargo and Moorhead. He spent many hours at local facilities trying to help others who needed guidance and support. He also helped many people who were struggling with Parkinson?s disease by offering a listening ear. He will be missed by many. Bob is survived by his wife, Becky; his daughter, Angela (Craig) Hauff; his son, Adam Hauff; and his grandson, Zac ? all of Moorhead. Also surviving are his siblings, Flo (Galen) of Lahaina, HA; Elaine (Doug) of Minneapolis, MN; David (Eileen) of Fargo; and Muggins of Fargo. He was preceded in death by his parents. VISITATION: 6-8 PM Monday, August 14, 2006 at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo ? and also one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Tuesday FUNERAL: 1 PM Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead BURIAL: Riverside Cemetery in Moorhead Arrangements entrusted to the care of Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo.
