  1. To the Family of Bob,
I am stunned by the passing of your loved one, I am so very sorry for your loss. Bob would come into Menards on a consistent basis, he always made me laugh and smile. I really enjoyed his humor and how genuine he was. We would share stories, and I will never forget his laugh and smile. He would just glow when talking about his grandbaby in Texas, and how he wanted the little one to give his momma a run for her money. At the end of our conversation, he would always close it with “Well, I better get a go on, and chase that dollar” It is so very sad that he is gone, but he definitely will not be forgotten by those who knew him and shared in conversation. Prayers to the family.

  2. To the family of Bobby Keeney. I am Randy Berry and I was friends with Bobby in Central High in West Helena. Bobby and I worked together at Liberty Supermarket across from the school. I remember the year he bought his pride and joy The Oldsmobile 442 with a 455 engine in it. We worked on that car for almost a month before it was road worthy. The week we finished working on it, Bobby and his dad went to the Mohawk tire plant in West Helena where they bought 4 wide tires for his car. Bobby and I had dates set up for Saturday night since we both had to work on Fridays. Saturday morning rolled around and I was over at his house at the crackpot of dawn. We were going to wash wax and shine up the inside for our double date that nite. We were both excited as heck to have these dates with a couple of sisters from marvel, just 20 miles down the road. Danita and Wanita were there names and I don’t think we ever knew there last names, I am ashamed to admit. Well the time rolled around and Bobby picked me up since I went home to clean showe and shave. We headed out to marvel and did not get to the feed and seed just out of Barton corner well Bobby was driving kinda fast anyway. we were both being kool in the new shiny car with the big tires and rims on it and all of a sudden in a heck of a camotion a tire went across the hood. It scared the hell out of two young men and ruined our date that we had been planning for two weeks.
This time in my life that Bobby and I ran around together was a one of the best memories that I gave carried to older age.
I am very sorry for your families loss . Bobby was one of the very limited true friends I had in high school. We share many more good times in the 70s.
I did not get a chance to talk with Bobby after high school but I thought of him at times.
I just wanted to share this memory with you since I just found his obituary.
    Randy Berry
