So sorry to have read about your loss. My son Christian loved getting on the bus every morning and visiting with Bob, occasionally he would even bring him a cup of coffee. Christian has moved on to the next stage of school transportation-driving, but I know he will have many wonderful memories of the years that he was a passenger of Bob’s

Perhaps you are not interested in this at all which is fine. Your sorrow is great and super tough to go through. I just wish I could give you a hug on the funeral but alas we can’t be there. Bronchitis for last 4 months. Anyways your brother in law, Merlin Satrom is a relative of mine. His grandfather and my Grandpa were brothers and we grew up not too far from Carl and Marie, Merlin’s parents. So I know your sister married into a fine family. Sorry about the timing of this note. Sending our love. (We were bus drivers with Bob)

Condolences to Bob’s family. I had the pleasure of coaching womens softball for over 15 yrs & we had Bob as the ref a lot at Lindenwood Diamonds 1 & 2. He was an awesome guy who made the game fun for everyone. Bad call or great call you could never get mad at him because he was the nicest person I had ever met. He even stopped over for some burgers & a beverage after the games. This saddens me to no end that this good man was taken from us way to early !!!!!! Heaven definitely got a good one in Bob.
