Robert J. “Bob” Rebsom
Robert Rebsom, 71, Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2008. He was the youngest of fourteen children. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ralph and Katherine Rebsom; nine brothers; three sisters; and a twin sister. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mildred Rebsom, and son, Michael Rebsom of Coon Rapids, MN.
Bob was originally from Grassy Butte, ND. After high school, he served proudly in the US Army Field Artillery, Ansbach, Germany as a Rocket Specialist. Afterward he worked in California for Lockheed Aircraft before returning to Fargo to work and retire from the City of Fargo Water Department.
Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Badlands of Western North Dakota, a cool morning sunrise on the lake with a promise of fresh fish for breakfast, and bringing a smile to the faces of anyone he chanced to meet and everyone he already knew. Without a doubt, “Uncle Bob” reveled in his ability to bring smiles to the faces of his nieces and nephews and their children with his generosity, love and jokes.
