Roberta Lucier

roberta lucier
Roberta Juanita Lucier, 56, of Fargo, ND passed away suddenly on April 23 , 2019 at Sanford Medical Center surrounded by family. Roberta was born July 31, 1962 in Minot, ND at St. Joe’s Hospital to John II and Donna (Dietrich) Lucier. They later moved to Wyoming, MN where she attended Forest Lake Jr. High and later moved to Bismarck, ND where she attended Bismarck High School. She enjoyed going to the Desert on the Missouri River. She was an incredible cook with fried egg sandwiches and the Sunday special BLTs with country ribs for dinner as something you could count on. Caramel rolls were an extra treat. She could stand her ground with the best of them, worked as a welder, housekeeper, waitress and other jobs. She served her country in the military serving in the Army. She moved to Colorado and married Steven Millner. Together they had Torbin and later she gave birth to Melissa. Even through the brokenness, she always had a love in her heart for both her children. Roberta then moved to Fargo around 1998 and in 2007 she met her “Man” Steve Anderson who loved and cared for her the remainder of her life. They enjoyed spending time with their dog babies and remodeling their home. Thank you Steve for loving Roberta unconditionally these last 12 years of her life! She liked to garden, collect solar figurines, and go on weekly trips to the dollar store. She is survived by “her man” Steven Anderson; children Torbin Millner and Melissa Cowell. Grandchild Leo Mannes. Siblings Stephanie (Todd Gallagher) Lucier of Glyndon, MN; Stephen Lucier of Bismarck, ND; John III (Cari) Lucier of Puyallup, WA, Frank (Kim) Lucier of Fargo and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews plus her two dogs Reggie and Jameson. She is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Lucier, her Godparents Virgil Lucier and Juanita Sennett, her grandparents John and Blanche Lucier and Raymond and Doris Dietrich.

  8. My heart is broken too have too find out. Bobby passed away, we have been friends since her parents attended college at tribes in Bismarck. We went forever without seeing each other until the day she walked into the Tribune and filled out an app to work, we talked for hours about things she had been through and the next we had her working. She was a ray of sunshine and a bundle of energy, she found me on Facebook and invited me to visit her in Fargo but I’m sorry too say I didn’t go because I was afraid of her dogs. 🙁
I wish I would have went . I always thought there was time. My thoughts and prayers go out too her children as well as her siblings & her love. God be with you all & I am so sorry I didn’t know earlier or I would have been there.
