Roger Richard

Roger David Richard, 79, Fargo, ND, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Roger David Richard was born December 13, 1927 in Fargo, ND. He grew up near Wild Rice, ND where he attended school. He farmed with his parents. He enlisted in the Navy and served from 1945-1948 in the Pacific. After his discharge, he returned home. Roger and Dolores M, Muhle were married in Fargo on February 1, 1950. He worked for O?Day Equipment and the Fargo Fire Department. He worked for the U S Postal Service as a letter carrier from 1953 until he retired in 1985. At the time he worked for the post office, he also worked for Kegal Sign Company until 2001. He then worked for Napa Auto Parts from 2001-2005. He is survived by his wife, Delores; 2 daughters, Cheryl (Roger) Olstad, Woodbury, MN and Debbie (Mike) Bruns, Fargo, ND; 1 son, Steven (Susan), Fargo, ND; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Anthony (Leone) Richard, Wild Rice, ND, Maurice (Ella) Richard, West Fargo, ND and Daniel Richard, Phoenix, AZ; 3 sisters, Angela Lepine, Fargo, Joanne Erickson, St. Cloud, MN, and Diane (Steve) Grindberg, Fargo, ND.
