Ronald Fishman, Lt. Colonel, Retired Army, passed on Saturday, May 12, 2007. Ronald was born in Chicago, Illinois August 30, 1931 to Morris and Blanche (Beiber) Fishman. He grew up Chicago. He graduated from high school and R.O.T.C. in Los Angeles. He enlisted in the U. S. Army and served in Korea, and served in Viet Nam twice with the 4th Infantry Division. He retired in 1978 with the rank of Lt. Colonel. He lived in Japan, Germany, and various states in the U.S. After retiring he lived in Oklahoma and moved to Fargo in August 2004. He and Sally M. Howard Fishman were married December 26, 1951 in Michigan. Ronald played trumpet and formed his own band. He loved public speaking, and trained salesmen for William E. Davis and Sons Food Company, U. S. Food Service in Oklahoma. Ronald was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his wife, Sally M. Fishman, Fargo; son, Damon B. Fishman, Fargo; and daughter, Minka S. (Brad) Leeser, Moorhead.
